Art Explorations for Kids

Art Explorations for Kids is an interactive art education series allowing children ages 4 to 8 and their families to produce art in a gallery setting to instill a sense of art appreciation.  Held on the second Saturday of every month, Art Explorations both encourages an interest in the arts and aims to develop participants’ cognitive skills, self-esteem and self-expression.  This free family programming provides opportunities to develop a range of artistic techniques with visiting artists and explore current exhibits at the OSU Urban Arts Space.

Each month, a new resident artist leads Art Explorations, including exhibiting artists in the Space, local artists, or community leaders in the arts or arts organizations.  OSU Urban Arts Space Education staff works with visiting artists to develop and administer fun and interactive programs.

Reservations for this free program are requested; drop-ins are permitted only as space and materials are available.  To RSVP, please call 614-292-8861.
