Art 695.09/891.09 Special Topics: Site Specific Art | Summer 2008 | Professor Sergio Soave & Lecturer Elizabeth Gerdeman

During the summer of 2008, seven Ohio artists were selected to create new work on-site for the exhibition, What Time is this Place. The creation of these works and the resulting exhibition coincided with a five-week studio/seminar course offered by OSU for graduate and undergraduate students. Students enrolled in the course worked as collaborative assistants and provided support for the creation of these new works throughout the three-day process.

The course culminated with the students creating an exhibition of their own in Hopkins Hall Gallery entitled, What Time is this Other Place. This exhibition featured new, site specific work by OSU students Scott Aigner, Jessica Brandl, Anna Laurie Mackay, Zuzana Muranicova and Brooklyn Simmons.
