Nosferatu Screening with Live Sound Track
Thursday, October 29, 2009 - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
What better way to kick off the Halloween weekend (for some the weekend does start on Thursdays!) than with a free screening of F. W. Murnau's Nosferatu? How about a free screening with a live sound track.
This 1922 silent film is the chilling tale of vampire Count Orlok and based off of the familiar story "Dracula". The film will be accompanied by a live band sound track specifically composed for the event by Jay Harmon and The Francis Bacon Band.

About Jay Harmon and the Francis Bacon Band
Jay Harmon has been playing folk music in Columbus for five years, with acts as diverse as Time and Temperature, Terribly Empty Pockets, and Noumena. He has recently given into his interests in free improvisation and assembled a loose collective of musicians he calls The Francis Bacon Band. Their first album, "Unsafe in Any Skin", will be self-released this October.
This screening is part of our after-work programming offered Thursday evenings. After the show stop by Tip Top Kitchen & Cocktails and ask for the Urban Artists' Special: It's very special indeed and it's only $3.
