While Sierra was introduced to the arts through musical theatre, she has recently shifted her focus to the visual arts with a focus in ceramics. Her current passion, however, is interior design: she says it is exhilarating to craft the perfect, cozy space for her and her family. Outside of the arts, Sierra’s hobbies include hammocking and going night “hiking” with her friends.

Sierra’s favorite thing she’s done as a Student Exhibition Preparator Intern is strike the exhibit of Patrick McDonnell’s Side Effects. She says it was exciting to be able to get a behind-the-scenes understanding of the striking process and to work closely with Chiara and Jeremy.
