Gillian is an intern here at Urban Arts Space, and she has had a wonderful time getting to explore all of the different aspects that go into creating such a strong and creative community.

Gillian has always been interested in visual artistry, such as painting, drawings, and sculpting; however, she has also recently begun to take an interest in the world of digital design/media. Creating digitized posters, advertisements, and projects is something Gillian enjoys doing, as she likes constructing intricate layouts and designs.

In her free time, Gillian loves to dance. In fact, she has been dancing since she was four years old. Dance is not only a great way to stay active, but it has also always provided her with a positive outlet whenever life gets a little crazy. Gillian is also involved in a dance club team on campus, and she is very grateful for the opportunity to keep doing what she loves, even in college. Additionally, Gillian is passionate about her family (including her dog Ollie) and friends as well as staying creative.

Gillian likes to live life through the words “everything happens for a reason.” In life we experience many ups and downs, and sometimes the flow of it all doesn’t entirely make sense. However, every experience in your life was designed to shape you and reform you into the ultimate and greatest version that you could ever imagine yourself being.
