Lane works as an Exhibitions Intern at Urban Arts Space, and her favorite element of her job is the people she works with and the beautiful art she engages with as well. She is really looking forward to the planning process of exhibitions and installations—seeing a show truly come to life.

Lane has had a long-time love for fashion design and product curation; working with different fabrics is her favorite. Her favorite artist is Jean Michael Basquiat because his work stimulates organic thinking and uses color palettes and mediums that she finds fascinating. She also loves the work of Dale Chihuly, and glass art as a whole. Lane is passionate about fashion sustainability, and dreams of working for a fashion company as a writer/editor. She also has a passion for reading and enjoys hiking in her free time.

Lane’s words to live by are “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” — Maya Angelou. She recommends focusing your time on those that you love and those who show you that love in return because self-preservation is among the most creative and passionate acts of love we can portray.
