Artist Commune

Artist Commune is a collaborative event designed for artists looking for an interactive art space and anyone else hoping to create something new. Free and open to the public, Artist Commune features arts activities around a different theme held on the last Friday of each month. Past themes have included live figure drawing, pop-up exhibitions, poetry readings, downtown photo walks, and hip-hop storytelling. The Artist Commune Journal is an extension of this collaborative spirit. It serves as a record and a reflection of the creative energy that flows through the commune, documenting the experiences, projects, and journeys of the artists involved.
