Ohio Clean Air Coalition, a mutual-aid group founded by exhibiting artist Sam Wrigglesworth, will demystify key aspects of improving indoor air quality in the interest of maintaining disability justice in our collective spaces. Participants will leave the workshop with hands-on experience building air purifiers as well as technical knowledge to make the invisibility of air and virus transmission tangible. The skills taught in this workshop will utilize similar materials and technical knowledge as Wrigglesworth’s functional air purifier sculptures within the exhibition space.
Workshop Facilitators: Sarah Doherty, Sean Rule-Hoffman, Sharon Kim, and Sam Wrigglesworth
