Artist Commune: Knit Circle

Artist Commune Knit Circle
Fri, January 31, 2025
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Urban Arts Space

Artist Commune: Knit Circle welcomes the Columbus community to bring their current knitting, crochet, embroidery, and other fiber projects into the gallery! After a presentation on the importance of slow fashion and preserving textile practices, attendees are welcome to meet each other and converse about their current practices. There will also be a demonstration on spinning from our Design Intern Morgan Brown (Instagram: @morgan_abr).

Beginners and advanced artists welcome—some basic supplies will be provided, and guests are also welcome to bring their own yarn to donate or trade. Please note this is not a class but a chance to create community among members of the fiber community.

RSVP for this free event!

Artist Commune is a recurring event hosted by Urban Arts Space that allows artists and the community to come together to create art, discuss art, and network.
