Traditional art education has often centered on lighter skin tones, leaving many artists with limited experience in rendering darker complexions. This session aims to bridge that gap by offering a dedicated space to practice and appreciate the richness of Black figures in art.
Bring your charcoals and sketch pads, or use the free materials provided, and immerse yourself in a creative experience that highlights representation and artistic growth.

Artist Commune is a recurring event hosted by Urban Arts Space that allows artists and the community to come together to create art, discuss art, and network.
