Clay in and of itself is formless- it can become anything through one's desire. Once fired the medium becomes ceramic - permanent - what one may call a 'transformation image’, something undeniably material, wearing the evidence of its physical, social and spiritual factors in all their visible and tangible forms and attributes. Ceramics plays upon our desires and reinforces how we are willing to allow ourselves to be deceived.
