Contrary Motion is a performance of solo and ensemble works by queer composers, placing marginalized queer ancestors Julius Eastman and Pauline Oliveros in conversation with new music by local composer and educator Noah Demland. Artistic directors Noah Demland and Sam Johnson will join forces with local musicians in performing solo and chamber works in honor of Pride Month, June 2024. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the performance will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
