In science, an educated guess is an inference based upon research and experimentation. Unlike research that is based on finding truth, An Educated Guess: Cosmic Slop shows a kind of research focused on the process of encountering visual information and material culture in life. The materials that are finally presented are not intended to prove or show answers, but instead show a heightened awareness of material and space while exploring the blurred line between art and life.
