I Forgot to Forget challenges the role artists play to historically characterize and question how we learn about our histories, and how we personally and culturally develop meaning. Inspired by the practices and processes which confront them, these eight artists re-interpret, analyze, reassemble, and re-stage histories within a wide range of mediums and geographies. Methods of engagement with these histories employ architecture, agriculture, storytelling, memory, and violence, in order to impact and connect.
