Roger Beebe, who until joining the Ohio State Department of Art in 2014 as a Moving-Image Artist, always considered himself a (mere) filmmaker. In this talk, he discusses the difference between those designations and the challenges of translation between the two forms of exhibition, specifically referencing the ideas he tried out and rejected for "Wish You Here: Department of Art Faculty Show," currently on view at Urban Arts Space.
