Artist Bio

Mansee Singhi (she/her) is a South Asian choreographer, performer, and teaching artist based in Columbus, Ohio. A proud member of the United Nations Dance Council, Mansee brings a distinctive depth to Ohio’s dance community through her storytelling, rooted in the Indian classical dance form—Kathak. Her choreography draws from a rich tapestry of influences, including folk traditions, yoga, and body analogy, resulting in movement creations that are both innovative and grounded. Dedicated to fostering an appreciation for Kathak, Mansee actively engages with the Columbus arts community through outreach programs that connect youth and seniors to the elegance and complexity of this classical art form. Her works have been showcased on prestigious platforms and are celebrated by art organizations and patron communities alike.
 
At the heart of her creative process lies a focus on collaboration, the exploration of geometric patterns within footwork and body movement, and a deep reverence for grace. Mansee strives to weave her cultural heritage with the universal language of storytelling, creating art that bridges connections and celebrates the unity of humanity.
