The historic Lazarus Building's rooftop garden collects the strongest and most resilient plants from all corners of the Earth and brings them to the heartland, and the center of Columbus. Sponsored by The Arts Initiative, City Center Gallery draws inspiration from the self-sustaining plants located on the green roof, and calls local and emerging artists to interpret, recreate, or be inspired by one of 25 plants and their ability to "surthrive."
