Join us for a tour of Impermanent Durations: On Painting and Time (part 4) with Laura Lisbon, professor of art at The Ohio State University and one of the four artists who collaborated to present the exhibition. The gallery talk will elaborate on the collaborative process involved in the current Impermanent Durations project. We will walk through the gallery with particular attention to the habits and complexities of looking at painting relative to time revealed in this site-responsive exhibition. We will explore the unfolding of multiple rhythms, painting languages and cultural conventions of time and painting through perceiving the collaborative exhibition.

Walkthrough will begin at 4:30pm, followed by the reception from 5-7pm, before the closing of the exhibition.
