Hybrid Arts Lab
Hybrid Arts Lab is a multi-venue learning lab that experiments with how art is imagined, made, viewed and understood within physical and digital spaces.
Hybrid Arts Lab showcases collaborative and experimental exhibitions, performances, discussions, and research by arts students, faculty, and staff in the College of Arts and Sciences. Art makers and researchers are invited to explore new ways of integrating and circulating their creative activity, teaching, and research utilizing the associated venues:
- Urban Arts Space
- Hopkins Hall Gallery
- UAS online
We are now accepting applications for Hybrid Arts Lab through December 6. Selected projects will be featured January 11—May 9, 2021.
Annual John Fergus Family Scholarship and Exhibition
The John Fergus Family Scholarship is a juried art competition open to studio-based visual art and design students at The Ohio State University. Students submit their work for review by a jury of faculty from the departments of Art; Arts Administration, Education and Policy; Design; and History of Art. Scholarship winners receive a $1,000 scholarship applied to their student account and exhibit their work at the annual Fergus Scholarship Award Exhibition, a group exhibition featuring work selected from the scholarship recipients' application.
We are now accepting applications for the Annual John Fergus Family Scholarship and Exhibition through November 16.

Go at it alone or collaborate across program areas to create and experiment with your ideas. This series encourages collaborative thinking, multidisciplinary and experimental approaches and an inclination toward asking big questions and igniting thoughtful conversations.
The Hopkins Hall Summer Series is open to anyone currently enrolled in any of the graduate programs at the Ohio State University.
