Homing is a site-specific audio/movement installation and participatory performance score for the rooftop garden of the Lazarus Building in downtown Columbus. Through a guided audio experience, Homing invites participants to bring awareness to attention, sensation, and movement in their bodies in relation to the rooftop landscape and Columbus skyline. Participants will move through the audio experience together, allowing spontaneous choreography to emerge while also learning about green roofs and their impact on urban ecology and sustainability.
This event will run 30–45 minutes and is offered at 5:00 and 6:00 PM on July 9. Meet us in the Urban Arts Space lobby! In the event of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled for July 11, 2026 at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
These tours are capped at 20 attendees. RSVP required.

- The rooftop is fully exposed to the elements (sun, wind, rain) with minimal shade. Participants should plan accordingly. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Homing is an ongoing collaborative project by Katherine G. Moore and Kathryn Nusa Logan that explores embodied relationships to landscape through sound, movement, and participatory performance. The exhibition brings together film, audio, and installation to document site-specific participatory audio projects developed across Ohio.
