Welcome one and all to the Sixth Annual Design Winter Market! This hybrid event is part of an emerging tradition within the Department of Design at Ohio State. During the Winter Market, an on-campus event and online exhibition, guests will encounter limited-edition—and, in several cases, unique—products designed and produced by design students. Products will be available to purchase for a limited time only!
In collaboration with Hybrid Arts Lab, and with the direction of Assistant Professor William Nickley, the Sixth Annual Design Winter Market will feature work from an impressive and expanding lineup of students from industrial design, visual communications design, and design foundations. Visitors will enjoy unique seasonal offerings and have opportunities to purchase goods produced by students!
Winter Market Products will be on sale for a limited time on December 6, 2023, and only on location (from 10 AM–12 PM in front of Hayes Hall on Ohio State's campus). Proceeds from this year’s Winter Market benefit the student-led Ohio State chapters of Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and Columbus Society of Communicating Arts (CSCA).
