Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Education

  • Major: Creative Writing
  • Minor: Professional Writing
  • Minor: Studio Art

Myah works as a Community Engagement Intern at Urban Arts Space. She is a senior in her final semester, pursuing a Creative Writing Degree with minors in Professional Writing and Studio Art. The punk-enthusiast is interested in animation, visual art, physical art mediums, and taxidermy.

As of today, Myah has leaped into the mechanics of animation and color theory, accredited to her personal travels. Exploring different parts of the world and acknowledging the relationship of one’s culture and art, has provided her with a newfound appreciation for all art media/forms.

In her free time, you are most likely to find her in a local bookstore or national park, or drawing on her porch with her two very needy cats, Nami and Peaches. She is an avid YouTube watcher and Indie film fanatic, and in her search history, you most definitely will see independent animated films or video essays.

Myah stands by the message “Courage over Cowardice”; always inject yourself into places where you think you do not belong. Everyone is afraid and has fear, and what you choose to pursue with that fear is up to you.
