Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. • Minors: Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Art History

As a Community Engagement Intern at UAS, Caroline is looking forward to learning more about the behind-the-scenes of an art gallery. She is passionate about connecting with the arts community and learning about their practices. She is very excited for this opportunity to learn and grow during this internship.

Caroline is working to get her BFA in painting and drawing, so this internship serves as a great guide to elevate her knowledge and practice. She is interested in many forms of media, like ceramics, painting, sculpture, and drawing. Caroline mainly does realism work, but she has been broadening her interests into abstraction as well. Her artwork encompasses concepts of nostalgia and femininity in her personal life.

In her free time, Caroline enjoys visiting with her friends and family, often involving cooking a delicious meal together. She also enjoys making artwork for her friends and family. Caroline works as a server as well, which has taught her to have a strong work ethic and be communicative with her peers. Being a student can take lots of time and attention from Caroline, but it is important to her to have fun and enjoy life.

Caroline lives by the mindset that everything happens for a reason and to take life as it comes. She always tries to keep a positive and motivated attitude that she can rub off on others.
