Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Community Engagement Intern

Education

  • Major: Biology
  • Major: English

Tiffany (she/her) is a community engagement intern at UAS, and a third-year double-major in biology and English at OSU. After college, she plans to pursue an MFA in nonfiction creative writing. In her personal essays, she investigates the hard sciences through a lyrical lens. She is currently focusing on the theme of collisions- whether of an emotional, atomic, or vehicular nature.

Tiffany’s favorite musicians are Elliott Smith and Lana Del Rey. Being an English major, she obviously likes to read. Her (sub)genre of choice could be summed up as “feminine horror.”

Her collection of interests includes ball pythons, fragrances, and theatre. She does not currently own a ball python, but is working on it. Meanwhile, she fills in time that could be spent with said hypothetical ball python by visiting thrift stores in the day and aimlessly coasting down highways at night. Her guiding principle is to see life as something to charge through impulsively, acting on desire, with little to be lost.
