Grace is a third-year Arts Management major with a Design Thinking minor, and she works as a Community Engagement Student Associate at UAS. Her favorite part of the role is getting to support programs that bring people together and make the gallery feel like a place where anyone can belong.

Lately, Grace has been especially drawn to visual art and design, because she loves how they shape the way people move through and experience a space. She’s always paying attention to how art can guide connection, spark curiosity, or shift the atmosphere of a room.

In her free time, she enjoys still life drawing, hiking, and seeking out new experiences, especially when they involve trying unfamiliar foods or exploring somewhere she’s never been. She’s passionate about placemaking and community building, and she’s constantly thinking about how creative environments can strengthen relationships and inspire people.

Grace recommends embracing every experience, even the unexpected ones, because each moment teaches you something. She believes knowledge is power, and that trying new things makes you stronger and more open to the world around you.
