Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

  • Major: Nursing

Daelyn is a first-year student at The Ohio State University, majoring in Nursing, and uses she/her/hers pronouns. She is a student connected with Urban Arts Space as an intern and is excited to explore how creativity and service intersect within the arts community.

Daelyn’s artistic interests vary, but she has a strong appreciation for movies and music because of their ability to tell stories, explain emotion, and connect people across different experiences. In her free time, she enjoys spending it fruitfully by learning new hobbies such as line dancing and spending quality time with loved ones. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and helping people through acts of love and service.

Daelyn lives by the words, “Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God.” This principle guides her to always give her best effort, lift God up in all she does, and find purpose in her everyday actions.
