Ricky Minniti is a fifth-year college student working as a Community Engagement Intern at UAS, majoring in Visual Communication Design with a minor in Psychology. He enjoys visual art and is a major film and television enthusiast.

In his free time, Ricky enjoys drawing, reading, and watching movies/television, not only for the entertainment purposes, but for the creation and developmental aspects as well.

Ricky is very passionate about growing in the activities he enjoys. While the road to improvement can be long and difficult, he wants to grow and become more skilled in the activities he loves. But it's not only art-based activities, he wants to grow as a person as well. College has taught him that life can get tricky at times, and he wants to do his best to prepare and do the best he can in whatever is to come in the future.

Some words that Ricky would really like to share with others are to try your best to recognize how growth takes time. College has taught him that growing is not always as fast as one would like, and it can get hard to accept that it's a slow process. But he wants to help emphasize that everyone gets better at their own pace, and that as long as you are trying your best, there's no shame in it taking a bit more time. Don't beat yourself up, just keep moving forward, and you'll be okay.
