Education

  • Major: Art Education
Natalie works as an Exhibitions Intern at Urban Arts Space, and she has enjoyed learning about the process of setting up and curating an exhibition. She is an Art Education major, and also has an Associate's degree in Studio Art from Sinclair Community College. 
 
Natalie is very interested in painting, and uses this as her primary media to work with. Recently, she has also begun to explore collage and creating video art. She draws heavy inspiration from Surrealism, as well as visual and audio media that is heavily based on emotion and everyday life. She finds Surrealism incredibly fun to look at and analyze, and likes to use this in her own art to reflect concepts of her work. 
 
In her free time, Natalie enjoys reading and going to the gym. She is currently reading Looking For Alaska by John Green. Natalie also has an interest in fashion, and how it in itself is art. She additionally works as the Visual Merchandising manager at Pacific Sunwear, and enjoys combining both interests of visual art, fashion and self expression through appearance.
 
Natalie is passionate about self expression and lives by being experimental with creativity in everyday life.
