Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Cynthia is a Community Engagement Intern at UAS and is a fourth-year student majoring in Industrial Design. As a designer, she focuses her efforts on making products and systems that are easy to use and bring some fun into people's everyday lives. She is excited to learn about what goes into an exhibition and the planning process involved. Growing up, Cynthia was always involved in the arts and in particular painting, drawing, sculpture, and orchestra. To her, art is a way of self-expression and a method of stress relief.

Born and raised in Ohio, Cynthia has been playing the violin for roughly 16 years and plays in The Ohio State Campus Orchestra. In her free time, she likes to cook, watch movies, and hang out with friends, family, and her two dogs, Chewy and Mocha. Her favorite words to live by are "Improvise. Adapt. Overcome."
