  • Major: Art Education

Chloe Milan (they/them) works as a Community Engagement Intern at Urban Arts Space and is a third-year student majoring in Art Education. Their preferred art mediums are acrylic painting and mixed media collage, but recently has found interest in ceramics and 3D design. Overall, Chloe's artwork surrounds themes of trauma, identity, and depictions of the body.

Chloe Milan runs a free community art club, "Queer Art Club" in Columbus in their spare time, by providing safe spaces and supplies for LGBTQ+ creatives like themself. Hosting events and facilitating group creative projects is one of their passions. So far in their time at The Ohio State University, Chloe has learned that supporting other artists and pushing and providing for other creatives to reach their potential feels just as fulfilling as creating art yourself.

Outside of art, Chloe's interests include astrology, sustainable fashion, and sports. As a Virgo and true perfectionist, the best advice they have implemented into their art practice is make bad art! Don't let the shame of being bad stop you from starting the process.
