Sophie is a Community Engagement Intern at Urban Arts Space and a senior accounting student at Ohio State. She gravitates toward interactive contemporary art and personal and cultural narratives for the lived realities they illuminate, the emotional depth they carry, and the reflection and connection through shared humanity they invite. In her photography, she is passionate about capturing the authenticity of life and experience in the places, moments, and things she comes across. Outside of art and school, she enjoys nature and staying active through activities such as hiking and ping pong. She approaches the day-to-day with gratitude and finds joy in the small things in life.
