when you held it up to the light, what did you learn?
and the shadows cast onto them, they memorialize
grouped together, the exhibition creates a space– of pause. of recollection. and of course, a way to grasp those shadows.
what's disguised now becomes tangible, recognized in the confines of placed walls– organized and reorganized again.
again, it sits alongside another. this becomes that and that becomes this and this becomes this and this and this and this and this and this again."

After three years of extensive studio work, research, and experimentation, this, that, and the other thing showcases the work of artists about to graduate from The Ohio State University Department of Art. With work in a wide variety of styles and media, this exhibition offers an inspiring look at a diverse group of emerging artists.
