Columbus Museum of Art

Under the Umbrella of Black Future Month Columbus, which takes inspiration from Hugo-winning author N.K. Jemisin and the Afrofuturist movement to envision the African-diaspora heritage and cultural influence of our city leading us forward, Columbus Museum of Art collaborates with Irrepressible Soul to bring you a night that centers Afrofuturism though the arts. This BAM (Bar Arts Music) will have sounds by TheLizaEffect and DJ B Redi, performances by Ajanaé Dawkins and Niaya Sayavong, and live painting by Arris' J. Cohen, Lance Johnson, and Diamond Young. Come step into the future with us!
