Many individuals who take art classes, study the arts, or learn maker skills often find themselves in careers outside the traditional creative fields. They become librarians, program coordinators, lab supervisors, or donor relations specialists, and work in facilities or medical centers. They support faculty and students in athletics, student life, graduate studies, or research. Despite their diverse professional roles, these Ohio State staff members lead creative lives, dedicating their personal time to producing beautiful and intriguing work that fuels their minds and expresses their unique perspectives. Their creations can be playful, profound, and inspiring. They might connect with other creative individuals in their community or online, or they may create in solitude.
This exhibition highlights the diverse creative work of The Ohio State University's staff, showcasing how the study of the arts can be a powerful catalyst for lifelong expression.
