Through urban interventions, video, interactivity and networked installations, his work creates new experiences of publicness and coexistent encounters between audiences across vast distances. Felipe is currently developing a body of work that imagines air as a material embodiment of the public sphere.Hannah WalshHannah Walsh brings together a body of photographs, videos and objects that engage ideas of subjectivity, naturalness and embodiment. The scientific gaze is brought into conversation with a series of intuitive gestures – each kind of knowledge confounding the other.Funded by the John Fergus Family Fund, these annual, internationally competitive fellowships in the Department of Art offer emerging post-MFA artists the opportunity to have a studio, teach, lecture and exhibit at Ohio State. Their presence and participation in the Department enriches the experience of students in all areas of studio-based practice. The John Fergus Family Fund was established with gifts from John C. and Elizabeth O. Fergus, and Robert H. Fergus in honor of their mother, Edith Fergus-Gilmore. It is the strong belief of the family, and the overriding philosophy of these awards, that it is important to give back to one's community. Urban Arts Space America/New_York public

Andres Felipe Castelblanco

Felipe Castelblanco is a Colombian multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of participatory and new media art. Hannah Walsh
