ROY G BIV Gallery for Emerging Artists presents Time-Sensitive, an exhibition at the OSU Urban Arts Space from October 2010 – January 2011. ROY G BIV welcomed Ola Ståhl as juror for the show.
Time-Sensitive features artists who explore the idea of the ephemeral. Ephemeral artworks fade, disappear, or simply "end" due to the materials or time that they inhabit. The artworks in Time-Sensitive explore the impermanent and the transitory, as well as disintegration and decay. These investigations will hopefully encourage momentary (yet lasting) impressions on the viewer.

Juror Statement
"What does our title, Time-Sensitive, imply? To be sensitive to time, to sense time, to have a certain sensibility by which to appreciate time? To be overly sensitive to time, disturbed by time, to experience time idiosyncratically, intensely or simply differently? To be able to be affected by time, to have the capacity to be transformed or altered by time, to take on different temporal modalities, to be of or in different, non-normative times? Or, alternatively, to risk being transformed by time, to suffer decay or degradation, death, with time? "
