Carley Gonzalez is a second-year Political Science and City and Regional Planning major and works as a community engagement intern at Urban Art Space. She is excited to learn the ins and outs of gallery operations and to connect with the thriving Columbus arts community.

Carley grew up just outside of Washington, DC, and spent much of her free time exploring the city’s many museums. She credits this with creating the foundation for her love and interest in the arts.

An avid movie watcher, Carley tries to make it a point to see a movie in a theater at least once a week. She is a music lover and can almost always be seen wearing her headphones when walking on campus.

Carley lives by the words, “caring isn’t embarrassing.” She finds these words help her be more sincere in her day-to-day life.
