Anisa Mohamed is a Community Engagement Intern at UAS, where she is excited to learn the art of curating engaging exhibits that are accessible to all. With a passion for storytelling, Anisa expresses her creativity through various mediums, from school projects to oil pastel paintings. A lover of nature, she is deeply fascinated by how our natural world influences our everyday lives and aspires to design spaces that are both equitable and beautiful.
Outside of her work and studies, Anisa enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She also has a passion for baking, painting, reading, and, of course, her cat Simba. Her interest in Landscape Architecture stems from its ability to positively impact people’s lives, and she hopes to contribute to creating environments that enhance the well-being of communities. Anisa believes that people are the heart of any design, giving it meaning and movement, and through her role at Urban Arts Space, she hopes to gain deeper insight into how to guide others through that transformative experience.
Her advice? Always be authentically yourself.
